Thank you for your email I can confirm that the PADI International Professional Liability Insurance requirements for instructors working in the UK are as follows:

1) The insurance must cover you to teach scuba diving

2) The insurance must provide you with 500,000 sterling indemnity cover

3) The insurance must include unlimited defence costs.

Please note that PADI international will need a copy of your insurance once you have purchased it, I would recommend sending your insurance details in personally, even if your broker offers to do this for you; this ensures that the information will be received quickly.

PADI instructors working outside the UK are not required to hold insurance, although it is highly recommended.
