PADI first introduced eLearning a couple of years ago for dive shops and resorts but have just opened it up for independent instructors. This now allows our club instructors to offer elearning as an option for a variety of courses from entry level to Instructors.

What is it? No rocket science really, it allows students to complete the knowledge developement, study and exam sections online from anywhere. Our usual catchment area for students is in and arround Bristol but this allows people to complete the study section with us anywhere in the world. If you are computer savvy and are distant to Bristol this will work for you.

We can see this being useful for example university students who may be coming to Bristol in the future and have some time for independent study before they arrive and complete the pool and open water sections or even student divers who are off on holiday and want to maximise their time abroad by completing all the study here before they travel.

eLearning is excellent in that you can complete it all online, in your own time and it lasts 12 months from the completion of the last section so flexibility is built in. We correspond with you on line and answer all your questions without you having to leave the comfort of your own house.

This is brand new for the club so if you are interested in this as an option contact us and we can help you decide how best to achieve your diving goals using eLearning.

Whatever next, the club have entered the computer age, use this option to enter the underwater world.
