Not all diver training is the same, not all dive clubs are the same.. |

Aquaventure Scuba Club was founded in 1999 with the intention of providing divers with the opportunity of learning to dive and, more importantly, giving them the chance to keep diving once qualified. This was born out of some of our own experiences when we learnt to dive with a dive shop and then found it difficult to find a buddy, learn about new sites, continue to dive and keep our skills up to speed as a retail unit often finds it difficult to provide an after sales service to newly qualified divers. We believe we have met our intentions and the club continues to develop. As a result the club now has many active divers amongst its 90+ members, including a number of families and juniors. We also cater for the single diver looking for a buddy or someone who simply wants to dive as much or little as possible with others, in fact all are welcome regardless of experience or qualification level. Non diving members are also welcome, particularly to support diving partners. We run various local trips throughout the year, dive holidays to exotic places and weekly pool sessions for the active diver. All the trips are run by experienced members who are only too pleased to pass on what they know. As you can see from the menus above we welcome and cater for junior members. We believe juniors are the future life blood of the club and welcome them on all trips and holidays. In addition there a host of other pages on this site covering dive planning resources, kit servicing and other useful sections. We have an active sales board for second hand kit and provide advice and guidance as to what to buy based on our own collective experience as opposed to the purely financial viewpoint that you will often find in shops. One of the significant advantages of joining the club is the fact that we have two qualified and experienced service technicians to provide all your kit servicing needs to the highest possible standards and at very competitive prices but with the added advantage of very quick turn round, plus the important service back up from people who are also members of the club and want to ensure you get the best service possible. Have a browse through the web site and if you are interested in joining us, learning more about the club, achieving your diving qualification, just having a try or progressing your dive education then drop us a mail by clicking the link above or come and visit us at the pool on a Sunday where we will be pleased to have a chat over a beer and discuss your needs.
