Interface Software

To run the interface you will need two pieces of free software downloadable from the net:-

Winzip10 found at www.winzip.com simply download Winzip8 evaluation version.

Wlog, the bit that makes it run found at www.wlog.de download english version 2.03g.

Having downloaded the software, connect up the interface to the serial port of your PC using the 9 pin plug, plug your dive computer to the two wires, red to the base contact, black to the -ve contact & turn your dive computer on.

Click on the 6th button from the left (the Transfer button), check the 4 boxes & this takes you to the 'Transfer Dives' Screen.

Actually run the logbook on your aladin by bridging the base & -ve contacts with moistened fingers & watch as the interface transfers all your recorded dive profiles into the wlog programme for you to edit & study. Its as easy as that! There are a host of other features in the software to help you manage servicing schedules, buddy addresses etc.
